It's shivering cold

According to students, Morton East’s newly named Aquatic Center has been really cold lately for the swimming unit in PE — under the instruction of Mr. Caruso and Mr. Begaenis.  “Sometimes classes would play in the gym room since the outside area of the pool is too cold to play inside,” senior Henry Ocegueda said. The teachers advise students to take their towels inside the room so they don’t freeze on the way to the locker room.

I don’t remember the pool being this cold everyday. Last year was warmer. Now I don’t even feel like swimming because it’s really cold.

The Morton West pool was always bitter cold. After I graduated there, Seguin Services had swimming program there which I went to. I brought a thermometer to measure the water temperature. The warmest reading I ever got was 74 degrees Fahrenheit. The coldest was 69 degrees.
