College room plans for future success

Are you going to college and need help?

If so, come to the college room in 122 during your supervisions. The staff there will help you apply to any colleges or universities that you want to go to. Sometimes different universities come to talk about what you need to join that school. Not only that, but they also help you fill out FAFSA (Money of the government) and help you re-take ACT if you need it. Although it’s a college room, they also help you find a job.

“Although undocumented students can’t apply for FAFSA because it is a federal government service/application, we help undocumented students find jobs, apply for scholarships and help them figure out what they’re going to do after high school,” college center director Ms. Avila said.

Undocumented students do get a lot of help from the college room. The college room is a useful resource for many students because it helps them prepare for the future.

“I think the college room is a good resource for seniors because helps us to plan what we want to do or what college we want to go after graduating and they help us apply to colleges and also they answer any questions or concerns we have,” senior Melissa Tolento said.

The College room helps seniors get a head start on colleges applications and other things they need to do before graduating. We do encourage students and parents who are U.S citizens to apply for FAFSA; it’s free easy money to help you with your future.

“It is not too late to apply for FAFSA I think they have until the money runs out and there estimated and expected to run out by January and February,”  Ms. Avila said.
