President Trump gave out stimulus check to Americans once the pandemic started when Covid-19 cases started to increase, and many people were losing work.

According to Studyinternational.com, people that filled taxes and met other type of requirements in order to be able to get a check to help them out. Once the pandemic hit many people lost their jobs since we were supposed to quarantine. Once people found out that the U.S president was going to give stimulus checks in order for them to help themselves out for household things needed. Stimulus checks were well used for families to pay for rent, bills, and food.

“En las noticias dijieron que nadamas a los que hicieron taxas y son nacidos aqui les ivan a dar. Yo creo que va a ser de gran ayuda para pagar biles,” Cicero resident Martha Figueroa said.

Although these are just some thoughts,

This is somewhat true; somebody else said they didn’t file taxes but still got a check.

“I got a stimulus check although I didn’t do any taxes and I’m not working, I’m not sure how that worked” my cousin said. “I heard that even minors would get a stimulus check. I work and files my taxes but I didn’t get any sort of money,” a coworker of Maria Noriega said.

The stimulus checks helped people buy food and pay for shelter.

“Both me and my husband got stimulus checks, and although I didn’t loose my job with the pandemic, my husband was laid off for a while, and the check was a good help with helping to buy food and pay some rent,” said a McDonald’s employee.

Of course, there were others who lost their jobs.

“I got my stimulus check when my job closed for a while, after that we were also able to apply for unemployment money until my job opened back up,” Caroline said.
